Information We Collect
Questions and messages you submit. When you ask a question in the App, the text of your question is transmitted to our servers and processed in order to generate a response. Conversations may be stored to operate and improve the service.
Technical information. We automatically collect limited technical data when you use the App, including your IP address, device type, and usage logs. This information is used for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.
Subscription and purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment details. Google provides us with limited transaction information (such as subscription status) so we can provide you access to paid features. Google's handling of your payment data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
How We Use Artificial Intelligence
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate answers to your questions about the Bible, Christian doctrine, and faith. Questions you submit are processed by AI technology, which may include third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf, solely to generate responses within the App. AI-generated responses are provided for informational and educational purposes and should not be considered a substitute for pastoral counsel, professional advice, or your own study of Scripture.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the App and generate responses to your questions
- To manage subscriptions and provide access to paid features
- To monitor for abuse, protect the security of the service, and troubleshoot technical issues
- To improve the quality and reliability of the App
- To comply with legal obligations
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not share your questions or conversations with third parties for their marketing purposes
- We do not display third-party advertising in the App
Sharing of Information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App (such as hosting providers, AI processing providers, and Google Play for billing), and only to the extent necessary to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal requirements.
How to Delete Your Data
You can request deletion of your data from the Christian Q&A app (published by Encore2wo, LLC) at any time. To do so:
- Email steve@encore2wo.com from the email address associated with your account or purchase (if applicable), with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
- Include the approximate date you used the App, so we can locate your records.
- We will confirm your request and delete your data within 30 days.
What gets deleted: the text of questions you have submitted, associated conversation history, and technical logs (such as IP address) tied to your usage.
What we may retain: records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, and anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you, which we may keep to improve the App.
Note: subscription records and billing history are managed by Google Play. To manage or delete payment information, visit your Google Play account settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at steve@encore2wo.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
